Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Odemny Student Search Engine ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, you are not authorized to use the Service under any circumstances.
3. Account Revocation, Deletion & Disrespect Policy
Odemny reserves the absolute, unilateral, and unreviewable right to suspend, terminate, completely erase, or revoke access to any account, network IP key, or subscription tier at any moment, for any reason or no reason, without prior warning or notice.
We enforce a strict Zero-Tolerance Disrespect Policy. If any user or institution exhibits disrespectful, abusive, or inappropriate behavior towards the platform, its service, or its creators/developers, their access, account data, and subscriptions will be deleted immediately and permanently with no possibility of appeal.
4. Strict No-Refunds Policy
All financial payments, upgrades, and subscription processing made on Odemny (including Pro activations or tier extensions) are completely final, absolute, and non-negotiable. Odemny maintains a strict 100% no-refunds policy. No refunds, credits, or partial pro-rated reinstatements will be issued for any reason, including service downtime, platform upgrades, user dissatisfaction, or account termination due to a violation of Section 3.
5. Advertising Disclaimer
Odemny reserves the explicit right to host, execute, display, or inject commercial advertisements, sponsored index results, banners, third-party promotional assets, or affiliate data anywhere across the platform interface. Users acknowledge and accept that the platform may display ad monetization scripts during their sessions.
6. COPPA Compliance & Account Provisioning
Odemny is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) because our infrastructure operates on a strictly "Zero-PII" (Personally Identifiable Information) basis. We do not collect, store, or profile student data.
CRITICAL OBLIGATION FOR SCHOOLS: To maintain this compliance, Educational Institutions are strictly prohibited from allowing students to log in using personal Google accounts containing real names or personal data. Institutions MUST provision generic, anonymized, or managed non-PII Google Workspace accounts for student access. If an Institution breaches this term, the Institution assumes total and sole liability for any COPPA violations.
7. School Monitoring Responsibility
Odemny provides the software infrastructure, but the Educational Institution is the sole curator of the network whitelist. Odemny does not proactively monitor, filter, censor, or review the specific content accessed through the platform. The Institution bears 100% of the responsibility to actively monitor student activity.
8. Third-Party Content Liability
Odemny indexes and links to third-party websites (e.g., Wikipedia, educational portals). Odemny does not author, control, or monitor the content hosted on these external platforms. We are not responsible for inaccurate, offensive, pirated, or outdated information found on third-party domains.
